Air Water Inc. in Japan, announced today that its subsidiary Air Water America Inc. (headquartered in New Jersey, USA,) acquired 100% of the of equity of Phoenix Welding Supply LLC. (PWS) on April 28, 2023. PWS is leading independent gas and welding products distributor in Arizona with nine serving locations. Air Water Inc. is currently involved in the distribution of industrial gas in the USA a key market in its global gases business. This acquisition in the Southwest adds a third operating region in the USA for Air Water America, Inc. supplementing Air Water’s existing business in the Northeastern and Midwestern USA.
