Air Water Inc.（the "Company"）announces that it endorsed the recommendations of the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures（TNFD）, and joined the TNFD Forum*¹ and registered as a TNFD Adopter*² in May 2025. Nature-related disclosures in line with the TNFD framework are expected to begin in late June 2025.
The Air Water Group（the "Group"）is working as one to address social issues guided by its Purpose, Meeting Society's Needs with Nature's Blessings. It understands that the conservation of biological diversity and the sustainable utilization of natural resources are significant global issues alongside the measures for addressing climate change. In 2022, the Group formulated its Basic Policy on Biodiversity. It has since been conducting its business activities accordingly. In order to further accelerate our efforts on biodiversity in the future, we have decided to endorse the TNFD proposal.
The TNFD is an international initiative aimed at building a framework which businesses and organizations use to assess the impact of their own business activities on the natural environment and on biodiversity and disclose information. Its objective is to visualize the activities and flows of capital that negatively impact the natural environment and biodiversity to achieve nature-positive results and facilitate the recovery of biodiversity.
In the future, the Group will appropriately disclose information about the impact that its business activities have on the natural environment and biodiversity in accordance with the TNFD framework to communicate with stakeholders in a highly transparent manner and increase the Group's corporate value.
