VSU: Regionally Distributed, Stationary type Liquefied Gas Plant

“VSU,” a highly efficient and compact liquefied oxygen and nitrogen co-production plant, is a regional liquefied gas plant unique to Air Water. By installing the facilities adjacent to our customers' plants, VSU achieves a “stable supply,” “energy saving” and “reduction in CO2 emissions” at the same time. With the development of the VSU technology that boasts energy efficiency comparable to that of large-scale plants, we established a new supply model with which gas is distributed from the point of production located near the point of demand via short-distance transport.

V1: High-purity Nitrogen Gas Generator

The high-purity nitrogen gas generator “V1” is Air Water's original nitrogen gas generator that stably generates high-purity nitrogen gas through heat exchange using cold heat of liquefied nitrogen. Nitrogen gas supply using this on-site system has been the most common supply system in electronics production lines such as semiconductors and liquid crystal panels.

V2 & V3: Oxygen / Nitrogen and Oxygen Gas Generator

The “V2” oxygen gas generator and the “V3” high-purity nitrogen and oxygen gas co-generator are large-scale gas generators evolved from the technology of the “V1” high-purity nitrogen gas generator. V2 and V3 can provide designing of nitrogen and oxygen gas supply schemes that match our customers' usage environment from low purity to high purity and can be applied to a wide range of user processes including steel-making, chemical and glass-manufacturing.

VP: PSA Oxygen Generator

The PSA oxygen generator “VP system” is an oxygen gas generator using the PVSA (Pressure and Vacuum Swing Adsorption) method. The PVSA method employs high-performance MSZ (Molecular Sieves Zeolite) as an adsorption agent by which nitrogen is preferentially adsorbed. This is an on-site type gas generator suitable mainly for manufacturing processes that do not require high-purity oxygen, such as in electric furnaces and in paper, pulp and glass manufacturing processes.

BELLSWING®: PSA Nitrogen Gas Generator

The PSA nitrogen gas generator “BELLSWING®” is a compact gas generator that separates nitrogen in the air using adsorption agent by which oxygen gas is preferentially adsorbed. The nitrogen PSA system proposed by Air Water employs the uniquely developed high-performance MSC “Bellfine activated carbon” as adsorption agent, with which a larger amount of air processing and more efficient separation of the nitrogen and oxygen components than before has been achieved.

Membrane-separation Nitrogen Gas Generator

The membrane-separation nitrogen gas generator is a compact nitrogen gas generator which separates nitrogen gas using the difference in transmission rate of the air passing through the separation membrane module. With compressed air, nitrogen gas with a low dew point can be generated and supplied at low cost, regardless of location.

VH: Hydrogen Gas Generator

The hydrogen gas generator “VH” is an on-site gas generator which generates hydrogen using natural gas as main raw material. Equipped with the independently developed “thermo-neutralizing high-performance reforming catalyst,” VH has achieved reduction in the capacity for reforming catalyst (1/50 compared with the conventional capacity) and long-term, continuous and ultrahigh-speed hydrogen generation, as well as clean hydrogen production, such as zero emissions of the environmental pollutants of NOx and SOx.

Hydrogen and Carbon Monoxide Co-generation equipment

The hydrogen and carbon monoxide co-generation equipment is an on-site hydrogen and carbon monoxide synthetic gas (mixed gas) generator using the “thermo-neutralizing steam reforming process” established in the development of the hydrogen gas generator “VH.” This is a system combining the new “thermo-neutralizing carbon dioxide reforming process” which generates hydrogen and carbon monoxide synthesis gas with high efficiency using natural gas, carbon dioxide, oxygen gas as raw materials and the PSA system using the waste carbon dioxide collection method which is optimal for the new process.
